A sandwich is a food item consisting of one or more types of food, such as vegetables,sliced cheese or meat, placed on or between slices of bread..;says Wiki… whether it’s like sliced bread, bun, baguette, or even Agege bread (if you’re Nigerian); as long as its bread and you fill it with amazing tasting veggie, legumes or animal meat; it’s sandwich- a great to maximize leftover veggies.
This was my dad’s breakfast 2 days ago- he requests for breakfast only a few times so I make sure it’s memorable plus he’s almost vegan.
INGREDIENTS 2 Servings
- Vegan bun 2
- Lettuce 4 leaves
- Apple (sliced) 1
- Flax seed (for garnish)
- Vegan cheese
- Coconut oil
Step 1
Divide both buns halfway. Brush coconut oil on top part of buns and lay some flax seed on them. Heat in the oven for 5 minutes (or heat up in a non-sticky pan on stove top).
Step 2
On the lower bun parts, layer lettuce, apples, cucumbers, vegan cheese, lettuce in that order. Cover with ready toasted top.
