Bruschetella is probably the easiest and fastest canape you would ever make! It is simple and yummmmmy- an extra item that would be a major crowd pleaser for your Christmas table this year; you are most welcome 😉
This recipe came about one morning while I was making breakfast. That week, I bought quite a number of partly baked baguettes to finish off baking at home, so I kept making different bruschetta toppings to enjoy them with my husband. On the other hand, I had been eating mixed nuts for snacks a lot at the time. Then my tastebuds seemed to crave a bit of both… nutella spread was a ready solicitor- boom boom!!!
Now, let’s get this done sharp sharp
   INGREDIENTS              6 Servings
- Baguette (sliced diagonally)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 6 slices
- Nutella (chocolate spread)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 1 tsp per slice
- Mixed nuts (almonds, pine nuts…)     1 tbsp per slice
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 150C for 5minutes. Divide baguettes into diagonal slices and line them unto a oven tray. Use the nutella spread on each slice. Top with nuts (do not worry about them falling off; nutella will get them stuck 😉
Step 2
Place the prepared tray in the oven for 5 minutes. This gets the bread warm, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, the nutella flavour gets sandwiched in the toasted nuts. It tastes amazing! Sprinkle fine kosher salt if you are about that life 🙂
Step 3
Bring them out of the oven and enjoy your life!
